“Radiance” - Virtual Program for Postpartum Moms

Authored by:

Many postpartum women struggle with their new identity, new body, and how to resume fitness after having a baby. In my clinical practice, women have frequently asked me questions about when and how to resume physical activity postpartum. My experience has also been that so many postpartum moms have a negative view of their postpartum body and approach their bodies from a place of judgment and negative thinking. That fuels an unfortunate spiral, where that negativity impedes getting active postpartum. This, in turn, can fuel additional negativity because physical activity is known to have a positive impact on mood, mental health, sleep, energy, and more.

This experience has led me to create Radiance. Radiance is a unique, body positivity & fitness program for postpartum moms who may be struggling with their new identity, new body, and overall well-being postpartum. It is self-paced, fully virtual, and recommend to last 8 weeks.

It combines the sciences of psychology & physiology to help you learn cognitive, behavioral, and mindfulness techniques to appreciate yourselves postpartum and regain your motivation for physical activity and wellness. Please read on for details and how to join.

Details of the program:

  1. Backed by Clinical Experience & Research — All video lectures/instructions & workbook exercises are rooted in Dr. Glezer’s clinical experience with hundreds of postpartum moms in various settings (e.g. hospitals, clinics, groups), and bolstered by data and research in the field of reproductive psychiatry

  2. An Integrated Approach to Your Wellness — Radiance uses cognitive & behavioral skills, & mindfulness tools to break your negative thoughts & self-judgmental attitudes that are barriers to feeling physically & emotionally well postpartum

  3. Special Emphasis on Psychological Tools — Other programs just give recos on “10 reps of this or that.” Radiance is different & uses the foundations of psychology to help you overcome barriers to fitness & provides a data-driven approach to physical activity postpartum that takes into account the special physiology & psychology of postpartum moms.

  4. A Virtual Curriculum for Self-Paced learning — Each week, you will receive direct video instruction from Dr. Glezer, explaining the principles of that week’s topic, providing you with examples and guidance. You will also have an accompanying workbook with additional teaching and practical exercises, along with a comprehensive resource collection.
